RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS

 

The minutes of the special meeting held July 12, 2018.

 

PRESENT WERE TRUSTEES JOSEPH RABATIN, DANIEL HODGE, AND BLAKE MEIER AND FISCAL OFFICER VALORIE LEWIS.  ALSO PRESENT WERE:

              Jim Zimmerman                                     Dave Compston

 

Mr. Joseph Rabatin called the meeting to order at 7:03 p.m.

 

A motion to suspend the approval of the July 5, 2018 regular meeting minutes was made by Mr. Blake Meier and seconded by Mr. Daniel Hodge with Mr. Joseph Rabatin concurring.

 

Chief Zimmerman and Assistant Chief Compston informed the Board there was no opposition to the tanker chassis and tanker apparatus at the Association meeting on Wednesday, July 11, 2018.

 

A motion to pending the Prosecutors Officer information to go to bid for a new tanker was made by Mr. Daniel Hodge and seconded by Mr. Joseph Rabatin with Mr. Blake Meier concurring.

 

Chief Zimmerman informed the Board he had a quote for an F250 pickup truck from Village Motors for $33,757.52 and Dale James for $31,956.00. 

 

Chief Zimmerman informed the Board that the Association had approved to contribute 1/3 of the cost of the pickup truck.

 

A motion to approve the purchase of an F250 from Dale James not to exceed $33,000.00 was made by Mr. Blake Meier and seconded by Mr. Joseph Rabatin with Mr. Daniel Hodge concurring.

 

A motion to pay 1/3 of the cost of the F250 from the Fire Fund and 1/3 of the cost from the EMS Fund with the Association contributing 1/3 of the cost was made by Mr. Daniel Hodge and seconded by Mr. Blake Meier with Mr. Joseph Rabatin concurring.

 

A motion to adjourn was made at 7:45 pm by Mr. Joseph Rabatin.  Mr. Blake Meier with Mr. Daniel Hodge concurring seconded it. 

 

The next regular meeting is Thursday, August 2, 2018 at 7:00 pm at the Fire Station.
